PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program got a little late magic as a tie game heading into the 82nd minute turned into a multi-goal victory as a penalty kick score in the 83rd plus an insurance goal in the 88th allowed the Wildcats earn its sixth consecutive triumph against a gritty Jarvis Christian bunch, 3-1.

- Maryane Mafra put through the equalizer at the 38:33 mark, scoring her first official goal of 2023 after her score versus Bethel (Tennessee) was wiped out due to lightning and ruled a no contest.

- Lindsey Jacobs has now surpassed last season's assist total already in nine fewer contests, setting up Mafra's strike to give the Belgian midfielder a half-dozen on the campaign.
