HOBBS, N.M. – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program has now held three of its past four opponents off of the scoreboard and has scored three or more times in each of its last four contests, easing past the University of the Southwest on the road for a 3-0 RRAC road victory Thursday afternoon.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Lindsey Jacobs produced her third career multi-assist outing and first of the season at USW, setting up the final two scores of the day while also getting off a season-most three shots, one on-goal.
- Alicia Gurrusquieta got the Orange and Blue on the board first in the 28th minute with an unassisted strike that gave her at least one goal in each of the last four tilts, placing both her shots on-point as well.
- Emma Monnet is also scorching hot as of late, dropping in her fourth goal in the past two matches during a dagger of a score at the 60:14 mark.
- Lastly, Maria Alonso Lopez sealed the door shut on any potential Southwest comeback attempts as she drilled one home with just under 20 minutes to go, putting a nice bow on the triumph.
- Jaycee Woods shutout her adversary, but what else is new for the rising star between the pipes? The junior from Mount Pleasant, Texas stopped four shots to earn herself and the visitors their fourth win of the campaign.
Notes:
- Louisiana Christian piled up ten shots-on-goal in 15 shot attempts for a 66.7% SOG percentage, its second match of 2023 with double-digit on-target chances.
- The women from Pineville were on the attack most of the afternoon and kept the Mustangs away from scoring position as the Cats had more corner kicks (3-2) and a significant shot advantage, 15-6.
