Senior center fielder Jodi Montagnino (Baton Rouge/Christian Life HS) is featured in Sports Illustrated magazine's "Faces in the Crowd" for the edition that will come out on news stands on April 19th.

Montagnino batted .556 with two home runs, 13 RBIs and eight runs scored in six wins over four days for the No. 1 Lady Wildcats. She matched the school single-season record for home runs (nine), tying her for third in NCAA Division III, and was named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association hitter of the week.

It is the third time that a Louisiana college athlete has been featured in this section that highlights standout athletes from high schools and colleges. Previous honorees include softball pitcher Sandi Clark and football star Wayne Davis, a running back for the Wildcats.
