PINEVILLE - Fans of the Louisiana College softball program will can get their first peak at the 2010 Lady Cats at 5 p.m. Saturday when the traditional national powers debut at home with the annual softball alumni game at Coca-Cola Lady Wildcats Field.

RICHARDSON, Texas –– East Texas Baptist University and Hardin-Simmons University have been predicted to win 2010 American Southwest Conference softball division titles, it was announced by the ASC office on Thursday after a vote of each division’s head coaches, sports information directors and media members. The University of Texas at Tyler’s Whitney Wyly, ETBU’s Ayrika Henderson, HSU’s Courtney Clark and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Kelsey Greeson earned preseason individual honors. Louisiana College's women were picked to finish third the ASC East Division.

PINEVILLE - The Louisiana College softball team announced Saturday that the scheduled fall camp for November 23, one intended for children ages 7-12, has been cancelled.
The youth camp (ages 13-18) on Nov. 24 will still take place as scheduled and feature pitching and catching instruction from 9-11:30 a.m. and hitting instruction from 1-3 p.m.
Cost to attend will be $65 for one session (either hitting or pitching/catching) or $80 for both sessions.
