ALEXANDRIA, La. - The season couldn't have started much better for the LC baseball team. A strong team pitching performance coupled with timely hitting and solid fielding led the Wildcats to a 7-2 road win against local rival LSU-Alexandria.

RICHARDSON, Texas –– The University of Texas at Tyler and Texas Lutheran University have been predicted to win 2010 American Southwest Conference baseball division titles, it was announced by the ASC office on Wednesday (Jan. 27) after a vote of each division’s head coaches, sports information directors and media members. A total of 30 players – 14 from the East Division and 16 from the West Division – were named to the inaugural players to watch lists by nominations from head coaches.

PINEVILLE - Louisiana College Baseball Coach Mike Byrnes and his Wildcats are gearing up for their annual preseason banquet. On Jan. 11, at 6:30 p.m., the LC Baseball family will congregate at Pineville High School for the Sixth Annual Dugout Club banquet.
