Louisiana Christian University Athletics

A 1981 grad, Johnson was a two-time All-American for the Lady Wildcats. She took her 1980 team to the Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Final Four in Dayton, Ohio, and set a number of school records in the process. As a coach, Johnson posted a school-best 31-3 record in 1985-86, taking her team to the Final Four again. Johnson was elected to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 2006.

Johnson also served as the Louisiana College Athletic Director from 2000 until 2003.  During this time, LC added football and made the transition from NAIA to NCAA Division III.
