RICHARDSON, Texas - For the first time in six years, the Louisiana College women's tennis team has an All-Conference performer in its midst.

On Friday it was announced that senior Taylor Henderson (West Monroe, La./West Monroe HS) had received honorable mention on the 2012 American Southwest Conference All East Division team.

"It's a nice accomplishment for Taylor," Louisiana College women's tennis coach Justin Charles said. "She's been our most consistent and successful performer the last two seasons and is one of the players who has helped to put us back on the right track for the future. We're all proud of her."

Henderson was the first LC women's tennis player to receive All-ASC recognition since Heather Seals, Annie Lemoine and Tiffany Broussard  in 2006.
