HORSESHOE BAY, Texas - The Louisiana College duo of Chas Cranford and Caleb Stark completed their innaugural showing in the American Southwest Conference Golf Tournament with solid final rounds.
Cranford finished the tournament in 34th place after finishung his tournament with a round of 75 to bring his three-round score to 250.
Stark checked in at 41st after shooting 256 (84-88-84) over three rounds at the Ram Rock Golf Course at Horseshoe Bay Resort.
Host team Texas Lutheran captured the team title with an overall 923, 15 strokes better than second place Texas-Tyler.
Texas-Tyler's Jacob Walsh, however, took home the individual title after defeating Texas Lutheran's Ryan Kiel on the second hole of a sudden-death tiebreaker. Both men shot a 224 over three rounds.
