PINEVILLE, La. - For the second year the Louisiana College women's soccer team has won the National Soccer Coaches of America Association's Team Academic Award.

The Lady Cats have a team GPA of 3.31 this year which qualified them for the honor.

A total of 790 soccer teams (219 men, 571 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 academic year.
