PINEVILLE, La. – Four members of the Louisiana College women's soccer team have been named to the 2011 All-American Southwest Conference team.

The Lady Cats, who won two games in 2011 following a winless 2010, had one third-teamer and three honorable mention performers.

Junior goalkeeper Emily Breaux (Lafayette, La./Lafayette HS) earned third team, her third straight All-ASC nod, following a season in which she made a conference-best 213 saves. It's the third year in which Breaux led the ASC in that category.

Defender Anna Champagne (Houma, La./Vandebilt Catholic), forward Sara Smith (Texarkana, Ark./Arkansas HS) and midfielder Erin Biggs (Ponchatoula, La./Ponchatoula HS), all freshmen, each received honorable mention.

Champagne scored two goals and had one assist while anchoring the Lady Cats' last line.

Smith had the most productive offensive season ever by an LC freshman and scored four goals while dishing out one assist.

Biggs, who played in multiple positions for LC, finished with a pair of assists.
