The Louisiana College men's cross country team recently competed in a pair of meets with respectable individual showings in each.

On Sept. 24, Derek Moncada, as the lone representative of the Wildcats, placed 12th in a meet hosted by Centenary.

Last Monday, with the entire LC squad participating, the men placed sixth in the Northwestern State Invitational in Natchitoches, La.

Moncada placed 35th with a time of 35:37. Max Chou was 36th (40:54), Joshua Jee 37th (42:19), Todd Whatley 39th (44:38) and Joseph Buzzetta 40th (46:09).
