TYLER, Texas - The Louisiana College men's golf team placed 11th out of 14 teams in the Texas-Tyler Fall Invitational, the Wildcats' opening tournament of the season.
Junior team captain
Caleb Stark was the team's top individual performer, placing 13th with a two-round total of 150 (75-75).
Also competing on behalf of LC were
Dillon Dunbar (44th, 84-77-161),
Tung-Nan Lin (58th, 82-84-166), A.J. Gaudin (60th, 81-86-167) and Chris Willis (withdrew).
Cheyne Kendall, of Schreiner, shot a 141 (70-71) to win the event.
Texas-Tyler won the team title, shooting a combined 585. Emory was second at 601. The Wildcats combined to shoot a 639.
