JACKSON, Miss. - The Wildcats looked solid in their trip to the 2011 Lake Caroline Invitational.

Louisiana College shot a combined 635 over two rounds to place fifth in Belhaven-hosted tournament behind winner Millsaps (607), co-runners-up Blue Mountain College (614) and Mississippi College (614) and fourth-place Freed-Hardeman (621).

Junior team captain Caleb Stark got his second top-15 finish in as many tries with a two-round 155 (78-77), good enough for a tie for 10th.

Freshmen Dillon Dunbar and Tung Nan-Lin both placed in the top 20 with Dunbar finishing 18th (80-78-158) and Lin 20th (79-80-159).

Chris Willis finished in 30th after a two-roun 163 (80-83).

Travis Ross of Freed-Hardeman won the individual title after shooting an overall 144 (72-72). Ethan Doan of Mississippi College was second with 145 (76-69).
