SHREVEPORT, La. – Saturday, the Louisiana College men's and women's cross country teams took part in the Centenary Invitational with the Lady Cats placing eighth overall and the men 12th.
On the women's side, senior
Rachael Quarles was to the top runner, placing 30th with a 26:50 effort. Sam Houston State's Alyssa Dooley was the meet winner with a 22:22.
Also competing for the LC women were
Stephanie Baer (42nd),
Hannah Lanier (48th),
Shelli Taylor (49th),
Hollie Hubbard (53rd) and
Jessica Jacobe (54th).
In the men's race, one in which Houston Baptist's Matt Perri took first place in 24:23, Michael Daigrepont was the top LC runner and finished 55th in 32:33.
Also representing Louisiana College were
Derek Moncada (59th),
Max Chou (65th),
Joshua Jee (69th) and Conner Harlow (71st).
Sam Houston won the team competition on both the men's and women's side.
