PINEVILLE, La. - He's already the owner of virtually every single-season special teams and receiving record at Louisiana College, now senior Jordan Rideaux (Carencro, La./Carencro HS) has begun his assault on the career marks at Louisiana College.

Saturday night, in Louisiana College's season-opening loss to Belhaven, the 5-foot-8, 145-pounder became LC's all-time kick-return yardage leader returning six kicks for 160 yards, the highlight of which was a 43-yard scamper.

That effort brings Rideaux's career talley to 1,543 career kick return yards on 58 attempts, 130 yards higher than the old record of 1,416 previously held by current Louisiana College defensive backs coach Justin Charles, who reached his milestone in 48 attempts.

Charles remains the career kick return average record holder, having averaged 29.5 yards per attempt. Rideaux's current career average is 26.6.
