PINEVILLE – The Louisiana College Football coaching staff has announced its 2010 Summer Camp Schedule.

This year, coaches will host two camps, a Championship Youth Camp June 7-9 and a Championship Skills Camp June 19.

The Championship Youth Camp is intended for children age 6-13 who play at any position.

The camp will focus on fundamentals of the quarterback position, form tackling, offensive and defensive line drills, defensive backs drills and techniques, receiving drills and running back drills

Registration will take place from 7-8 a.m. on June 7 with camp to take place from 8-11 a.m., daily, June 7-9.

Coast for the Championship Youth Camp is $100 9includes instruction and a camp t-shirt), however early-birds who submit payment prior to May 28 will be registered for $75.

The Championship Skills Camp will be a one-day event in which players ages 14-18 will receive position-specific instruction.

Finer points of the quarterback and receiver position will be covered as will offensive and defensive line play.

Registration for the Championship Skills Camp will be from noon-1 p.m. on June 19 with the camp to follow from 1-5 p.m.

Cost to register will be $50 per player (includes instruction and a camp t-shirt).

Regardless of the camp, each participant is asked to wear shorts, t-shirt and cleats.
