LONGVIEW, Texas - In their final tournament of the year, the Louisiana College golf team finds itself tied for fourth with Lon Morris after the second round of the five-team LeTourneau tournament.

Both LC and Lon Morris shot a two-round 626 to place behind Texarkana Community College (599), Mississippi College (606) and LeTourneau (610).

In the individual competition, two Wildcats are very much in contention for a strong finish.

Caleb Stark was the top LC golfer on day one with a two-round 152 having shot consecutive rounds of 76 to put himself in 11th place.

John Willie is on stroke and one sport behind Stark in 12th after shooting 76 and 77 to post a 153.

Other LC participants were Elliot West 91th place, 157), Chas Cranford (24th place, 164) and Darin Moore (32nd place, 182).
