PINEVILLE – The Louisiana College men's team fell to 0-3 on the season last Saturday with a 9-0 loss to Spring Hill of the NAIA.
Despite the loss, several LC men showed promise in their respective matches.
The LC duo of Ryan Meadows and Michael Sumner had its best outing of the year, falling 8-4 to the team of Wil Amauor and Jake Lyons.
The same could be said for the pairing of Josh Vickery and Josh Engen, who had fell 8-4 to Nick Rayburn and Jason Price.
In other doubles action, Cliff Magee and Nate Boles fell 8-0 to Chris Link and Burke DeFraites.
In singles action, Link defeated Boles 6-0 and 6-0, DeFraites defeated Vickery 6-0 and 6-3, Lyons defeated Magee 6-1 and 6-1, Amauor defeated Meadows 6-4 and 6-4, Rayburn defeated Sumner 6-1 and 6-4 and Price defeated Engen 7-5 and 6-3.
