PINEVILLE, La. - For the second time this season, junior forward Tillisha Givens (Monroe, La./Ouachita Parish High) has been named the American Southwest Conference East Player of the Week.
Givens earned her latest honor after posting two double-doubles in a 2-0 ASC week for the Lady Cats.

The LC leader averaged 20 points and 12.5 rebounds over two conference wins, including one against Texas-Dallas that gave the Lady Wildcats the outright lead in the ASC East Division race.

Givens, who takes the division's top weekly award for the second time this season, shot 81.8 percent from the floor and went 20-for-26 from the free throw line.

She also chipped in three steals, two assists, one block and committed only two turnovers.

Mary Hardin-Baylor junior forward Lindsay Eaton (Austin, TX / Lake Travis HS) averaged 22 points, six rebounds and four assists to pace conference wins against McMurry and Hardin-Simmons and was named ASC West Player of the Week.

Eaton, who takes the division's top weekly award for the second straight week, also helped the ASC West Division-leading Lady Cru improve their winning streak to 13 games.

Eaton scored a season-high 27 points against Hardin-Simmons. On the week, she added three steals, one block and shot 61 percent from the floor.
