Softball alumni game scheduled for Saturday

PINEVILLE - Fans of the Louisiana College softball program will can get their first peak at the 2010 Lady Cats at 5 p.m. Saturday when the traditional national powers debut at home with the annual softball alumni game at Coca-Cola Lady Wildcats Field.
Players from years past, all of whom helped to build the LC softball program into a perennial national top 5 team, will return to test the skills of the latest group of players to wear the blue and orange.
Admission is free but donations will be accepted with all funds raised to be donated to cancer research in conjuction with the American Southwest Conference's "Make a Change in 14 days" program and Louisiana College's "Think Pink" Day.
