PINEVILLE, La. - With the American Southwerst Conference Tournament looming, the Louisiana College Women's baskeball team got some welcome news Tuesday, learning that they had moved up two spots to No. 17 in the latest D3Hoops.com poll.
The Lady Cats, who've been among the top 25 teams in the nation most of the year, have been on a steady upswing the last three weeks and remain the only ASC team to receive a vote in the poll.
The top five this week consisted of Amherst, Kean, Illinoise Weleyan, Hope College and George Fox.
