LC Men fall to Texas-Tyler in season finale

TYLER, Texas – Chukwuma Ekeh scored 18 points Thursday night as Louisiana College ended its season with a 79-57 loss to Texas-Tyler at the Herrington Patriot Center.
It was the sixth loss in the last eight games for the Wildcats, who finished the season with a 9-14 record, including a 7-13 mark in American Southwest Conference play.
Texas-Tyler clinched a berth in the ASC Tournament with the victory. The Patriots improved to 14-10 overall and 10-9 in league play.
Ekeh, a junior from Holy Savior Menard, was the only LC player to reach double figures.
Hakeem Kareem lead UT-Tyler with 20 points followed by Neal Welch with 13 and Travan Porchia with 12.
