PINEVILLE, La. - The Louisiana College women's basketball team's stock continued to rise this week with the release of the USA Today ESPN and D3Hoops.com Top 25 polls.
The Lady Cats (20-2), who last week were ranked No. 22 in the USA Today poll and No. 21 in the D3Hoops poll, now find themselves in the top 20 in both.
The USA Today ESPN voters deemed LC the No. 18 team in the land while D3Hoops' panel have LC at No. 19 with just one game left in the regular season (LC travels to Texas-Tyler Thursday night).
The top five in both the D3Hoops and USA Today rankings are identical with Amherst College (Mass.), Kean University (N.J.), Illinois Wesleyan, Hope College (Mich.) and George Fox (Ore.) appearing in that order.
