LC men fall to LeTourneau

LONGVIEW, Texas - American Southwest Conference East Division preseason player of the year Dale Vanwright put on a clinic and the Wildcats suffered the consequences, falling 80-67 to LeTourneau to fall to 7-9 overall and 5-7 in conference.
Vanwright scored 27 points, pulled down seven rebounds and dished out seven assiss to lead his team to victory.
LC point guard JeLani Mitchell and center Korey Salmon were the only Wildcats to reach double figures. Salmon had an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double while Mitchell scored 11 points and dished out a pair of assists.
The LC men will return to action this Thursday night at Texas-Dallas.
