Pineville, La. - The Louisiana college men's and women's soccer teams both came up short in their respective showdowns with American Southwest Conference foe Texas-Dallas Thursday night at Wildcat Stadium
The LC women hung in the game but fell 2-0 while the men were unable to close the gap in a 5-1 defeat.
Doug Jackson provided the only goal of the day for the LC men, who received another solid performance from goalie Joe Saverino, who registered nine saves.
LC women's goalie Emily Breaux faced 17 shots on goal and registered 15 saves.
Both teams return to action Saturday with home games against the University of the Ozarks. The women's game begins at 2 p.m. with the men's game to follow at approximately 4 p.m.
