PINEVILLE, La. - In a slow, steady rain Saturday afternoon, the LC men's soccer team lost a non-conference tilt to Central Baptist College, 5-0.  LC returns to action Thursday, traveling to Concordia-Texas for their opening American Southwest Conference game.

CBC (3-1-2) started out strong and never looked back.  The Mustangs scored their first three goals within the game's first 23 minutes.  They sealed the win with two more goals late in the second half.

LC (0-6) managed eight shots in the game, but none found the back of the net.  The game was very physical as nine yellow cards were issued.  Five were issued to CBC.
