PINEVILLE, La. - Delta State scored a goal in the game's 67th minute that proved to be the game winner in a defensive battle with the LC women's soccer team.  The Lady Wildcats return to action Saturday, hosting Central Baptist College at 3 p.m.

DSU's goal was scored by Sandra Nirva and assisted byJackie Kelly.  Despite giving up a goal, LC keeper, Emily Breaux collected 13 saves.

LC made a good run at tying the game in the second half as they got off all of their five shots in the second half.  DSU keeper Samantha LeJuene stood tall though, collecting the shutout.
