Baseball Lands Three on All-Conference Teams

PINEVILLE, La. - The Louisiana College baseball team had three players that were honored as All-ASC East Team members.  First baseman Tyler Bray (Shreveport, LA/Bossier Parish CC/Byrd HS) was named First Team All-ASC East.  David Roux (Denham Springs, LA/Baton Rouge CC/DSHS) was named Second Team All-ASC East, and Hunter White was named Honorable Mention All-ASC East.  All three players are seniors.

This was Bray's second straight season to earn ASC East First Team honoros.  Bray batted .377 with four home runs in a 36 RBI.  In conference play he hit .477 with two homers and 12 RBI.  Bray also sported a .984 fielding percentage for the season.

Roux had a record setting season for the Wildcats.  He hit 12 home runs and collected 54 RBI, which were both the most that any player has collected in those categories since LC moved to NCAA Division III in 2001.  Roux also hit .302 and scored 36 runs and collected four assists from right field.

White, a second baseman, hit .343 with two homers and 21 RBI.  White also stole eight bases on the season.  In conference play, White hit .392 and led the team with 14 RBI.
