Game One Box Score / Game Two box Score
PINEVILLE, La. - Third-ranked Texas-Tyler downed the LC baseball team in an ASC doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Allgood Field.  The Patriots took game one, 12-1, and won game two by a score of 27-10.  LC closes out their season next Friday and Saturday at LeTourneau.

In game one, Tyler (31-6, 13-2) broke open a 2-1 game with two runs in the fourth inning, five runs in the fifth, and three runs in the sixth.  That was enough for starter Brett Holland, who allowed one run on seven hits with six strikeouts.  Greg Uzee (3-4) was tagged with the loss.  Uzee allowed nine runs (four earned) in 4.2 innings of work.

In game two, the Patriots erupted for 27 runs on 24 hits.  Eleven of Tyler's runs were unearned as LC comitted seven errors.  LC (17-20, 4-11), actually had a 3-2 lead after the first inning as LC countered Tyler's two runs in the top of the first inning with back-to-back home runs by David Roux and Tyler Bray.  After that, Tyler scored in every inning but the ninth.  The blowout win for Tyler overshadowed LC's offensive output.  The Wildcats collected 10 runs on 16 hits.  LC tagged Preseason All-American Blake Booher (8-0) for seven runs on eleven hits over five innings of work.  LC was led by Roux, who was three-for-six with four RBI and two home runs.  Also, Tyler Bray was three-for-three and Jon Michael Kidd was four-for-six to help pace the LC offensive attack.

In between games, LC honored their six seniors
