PINEVILLE – For the second time this season, junior wide receiver/kick returner Jordan Rideaux(Carencro High/Carencro, La.) has earned American Southwest Conference Special Team Player of the week honors, an award he shares with Mary Hardin-Baylor return man Bryson Tucker.
Rideaux, who returned four punts for 100 yards, including a 70-yard score, provided the Wildcats with 297 yards of total offense in their 26-0 win over Sul Ross last weekend.
His was the third Special Teams player of the week award for LC this season to go along with three Defensive Player of the week honors.
This week, the other ASC outstanding performers were quarterback Zach Hubbard of Howard Payne (Offensive Player of the Week) and safety Jordan Pfenenger of Howard Payne (Defensive Player of the Week).
