LC soccer teams fall on senior night

PINEVILLE - The LC men's and women's soccer teams' season ended Saturday night with losses for both young squads to LeTourneau.
The men, who bid farewell to seniors Anish Karsan, Joe Saverino, Felipe Escobedo, and Avi Shingwani, fell 2-0 while the women, who said goodbye to Jennifer Zundell, Courtney Hamilton and Sarah Whittington, lost 4-0.
Saverino, a graduate of Leesville High, was good for eight saves in his final appearance on the pitch for LC.
Meanwhile, freshman goalie Emily Breaux produced 12 saves in the women's game.
