LC soccer teams fall to Howard Payne

PINEVILLE, La. - The Louisiana College soccer team's two-game home stand got off to a rough start Thursday night with the LC men falling 7-0 and the women 3-0 to Howard Payne in American Southwest Conference play.
The women were outscored 2-0 in the first half and 1-0 in the second in a game in which goalie Emily Breaux produced 11 saves.
For the men, who were outscored 1-0 in the first half and 6-0 in the second, goalie Joe Saverino had four saves.
Both teams return to action on Saturday as a part of LC's Homecoming Day activities.
The women will face Mary Hardin-Baylor at 11 a.m. with the men following at 1 p.m.
