Ruston, La. - Brittany Ellington led the LC women's cross country team with a 29th place (out of 49) finish in their first meet of the year.  Ellington ran the 4K Lincoln Parish Park course in 17:52.  McNeese's Tinette Burger won the meet, running the course in 14:38.

Johnnie Little also had a good showing for the Lady Wildcats, with a 43rd place in a time of 21:23.  LC's other runners were Katy Alexander (47th - 22:10), Candice Creel (48th - 24:43), and Katie Rimmer (49th, 26:00).
