Louisiana College sponsors varsity athletic teams for both men and women in basketball, cross country, soccer and tennis; baseball, football, and golf for men; and softball for women. Varsity sports are offered through the Athletic Department.

Currently a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Division III, and the American Southwest Conference, the College agrees with and supports the attitudes, statements and regulations espoused by those organizations regarding standards of sportsmanship, ethic, amateur athletics competition, and fair play, gender equity, and the financial support, academic success, and health and welfare of student-athletes. The College is committed to working with these organizations as it strives to accomplish both specific purposes of the athletic program and the overall mission of the College.
